PXI-8145RT user1 light blinks 18 times

I have escalated this problem to NI but as yet no solution.  They are finding that the 8146RT  goes into safe mode then disconnects.

I dont know if its a SW or a HW problem.

Trying to go back to the old version was unsuccessful.
The controller became unrecoverable.
I spent many hours with a NI rep. at their office trying lots of things to get it to work. No success!.
A 8170 controller was tried but would only work with LabView 8.0
The NI rep has taken my 8146RT to the US to be looked at.
Ive ordered LabviewRT8.0 . and hope to have the 8146RT back from NI soon with explanations about why this happened.
