PWM using LABJACK UE9

is there anyway to control a DC motor using PWM from labview using the labjack UE9 hardware ? i've been reading on the labjack page and the UE9 has Up to 6 Timers (Pulse Timing, PWM Output) i just want to know how to use it.

thanks.

Have you tried using the example code that Labjack provides here:

http://labjack.com/support/ud/examples/labview

It looks like it will get you started.

Sparkysquared provided the correct link.  There are a bunch of LabVIEW PWM examples for the UE9 in there.

See Section 2.9 of the UE9 User's Guide for documentation of using a timer in PWM output mode.

Do you have a motor driver or motor controller?  I doubt the digital outputs on the UE9 can directly provide power for your motor, so if you don't have a driver/controller we need to look at the voltage and max current you need, and also whether you need forware/reverse or just variable forward.

Actually ... See Section 2.10 of the UE9 User's Guide for documentation of using a timer in PWM output mode.

Start by following steps 1-5 in the text at the top of the LabVIEW_LJUD page:
