PID controller toolset

I want to buy labview 7.1 for PID controller. Is labview 7.1 includes PID controller toolset or I should buy that separatly?

The control toolkit, which includes PID, doesn't come with LV. It has to be bought seperately.
The PID VIs were written in LV, and I believe that there is even a PID example which ships with standard LV, so if your project is simple enough, you may not need the toolkit.
I think your best option is asking your local NI office about this.

Just to be clear about one thing - LV does not run on standard controllers. The only controllers which can run LV code are the NI controllers, Fieldpoint and Compact Fieldpoint.
The PID VIs are meant to run on a target which can run LV code (like those controllers or a PC).
