PDA Labview Question

I need a spectrum analysis on a PDA. Can I use LabVIEW for this.I have not
used the smaller version for PDAs - is it fully compatible and what I/O
cards are available for up to say 100kHz.

Thanks

Yes, you can perform spectrum analysis on a PDA. While the LabVIEW PDA module (software required to run LabVIEW on the PDA) is limited in the functionality of a development system, data acquisition and analysis are still supported.

To give an idea on the speed of this performance, we have created a benchmark of a standard application. Please see this link.

If you want more general information on which DAQ products are supported for PDAs, please see the overview on the LabVIEW PDA Product Page.

Let me know if you have further questions. Remember that our Field Engineer in your area is willi
ng to demo the features to you - if you want.

Thanks Philip but I cannot get your link to work. I removed the html stuff
and have

Can you please verify this link?

Hi Tom,

The document I was trying to show you is actually not up to date with the current speeds of todays PDAs, so we dont want to use it as an official reference benchmark.

What I can tell you is that even with the old LabVIEW PDA 7.0, you were able to perform spectral measurements of a 500,000kS/s 12 bit analog input signal using the NI DAQCard-6062E PCMCIA card.

Note that if you want greater resolution we have the NI DAQCard-6036E that sports a full 16 bit resolution at 200,000kS/s.
