PCIe-7846 fpga card not recognized by labview (properly recognized by MAX)

Solved!

We have a new PCIe-7846 fpga card and have troubles installing it. It is well recognized by MAX but not by labview. I have read other posts with similar problems but I cannot find what we are doing wrong. I am listing here the version of the modules we are using in the order we are installing them, which seems to be what we need.

Without the card inserting the card we have installed:

1. Labview 2018 (f2 18.0.0)

2. FPGA module (18.0.0)

3. Real time module (19.0.0)

4. Compact RIO (19.0)

5. R Series multifunction RIO (19.0)

6. NIDAQmx (18.5)

Then, we inserted the card and opened MAX (19.0), run updates. We see the card in MAX no problem.

However when opening Labview, we don't see the card. Actually, when right clicking in 'My Computer' and then 'New', we do not even see the option 'Targets and Devices'.

We tried before with Labview 2016 (which is the version we have in other computer with an older fpga working fine) and the option 'Targets and Devices' was there, but there was nothing under 'fpga'. I assume Labview 2018 is not showing the option because it does not recognized any device, but I am not sure. Is this correct?

We are running all the software in trial mode.

We have checked that the NI Device Loader is working fine.

We have tried to force the reinstallation of the FPGA module.

We checked that we have the most update controller for the card.

As mentioned, we have tried with 2016 versions of Labview and all the other modules (apart from the R Series multifunction RIO).

Nothing has worked, we always see the card in MAX and says it is working fine, but we do not see it in Labview.

We are out of ideas. Could anyone help? I would really appreciate it!

I am attaching what we see when we open MAX

Thanks a lot

Thank you very much! It did work!

I am then surprised because I found in several places in the NI webpage and forums that the FPGA module has to be installed in the first place after installing Labview. It is really misleading!

Thank you very much for your help!
