Option Missing from Project Explorer - Converting the Contents of a Control to a LabVIEW Class

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to convert a typedef into a class.

According to this link, titled: "Converting the Contents of a Control to a LabVIEW Class", there should be a right-click option in the Project Explorer that says "Convert Contents of Control to Class". I don't see that option when I right-click my type def.

What am I missing?

I'm running LabVIEW 2018 32-bit, Full Development System on Windows 8.

(I have a hunch that it's because I'm on the Full Development System, but I can't prove it.)

It seems likely to be the "Full" problem.  When I first started back in 2014 I was developing using the 2011 Full version and posted this thread with the same issue.

Later I switched to the 2015 professional edition and I had that option in Explorer.  I'd already converted the class manually by that point.
