Opening vi's in an older verions of Lab View

Hello
I am programming my vi's on a Windows XP machine with labVIEW 7.0 but have to run my tests on a linux machine with labVIEW 6.0.  Is it possible to open a LV 7.0 vi in LV 6. I have tried doing this on the windows machine and it tells me that this is not possible, but is there a way to save the VI in LV 6 format, since i have not used any of the new VI's that LV 7 introduced. I realize that the best solution is to buy LV 7 for Linux or change the Linux machine to windows and install 7 on it, but i would like to know of converting back is a possibility before i go to those steps.
thank you

You can only a save as to one previous version. If you have 7.0, that means you can only save to 6.1. If you have a version of 6.1 around, then you could use that to a save as 6.0. I don't think upgrading to 7.0 for Linux is an option. NI stopped selling 7.0 a long time ago.
