Open fpga VI reference dynamically

I would like to open a FPGA VI reference dynamically: i.e., determine the FPGA to be used at run-time by reading its path from a config file and open it. With the Open FPGA VI Reference VI, I can determine the FPGA VI only during the development, but not at run-time, as far as a I know. Is there any possibility to do what I would like to?
