Can Open Office be used with LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit? If yes how?

I have never tried this but I don't think it will work.

The toolkit uses Active-X automation and this depends on the properties and methods of the server (in this case the MS Office products). On the other hand the various versions of MS Office have different servers. That's the reason why the installation routine detects the MS Office version and installs from the CD the corresponding LLB (I'm not sure but they were named someting like _word.llb).

There could be a chance to connect the toolkit to Open office replacing the _word.llb with a version which has the same interface but will use Open office as Active-X automation server.
