Open NI™ Software

Hi

Recently ( means Months ) Google has responded with the response shown below when I search for NI related stuff :

I wonder what 'Open' refers to.

Google has no ideas when I search for it.

- Is it a software concept like SystemLink, or

- Is it NI trying be young with the young as in the 'Open Source' movement, or

- Is it NI asking me to please Open ( ~ use ) some NI software, or

- Something else.

Hope somebody can shed a little light on this.

Maybe it refers to the projects that NI has been open-sourcing.

There is no  ™  used with NI Open Source, so I don't think it is it.

My own guess is someone in marketing hopes for a revolution :

Open NI™ Software !

We all know NI software is as closed as it gets.
