Only 8 channel shown from 16 using Advantech card in Labview

Hi!

I have an Advantech PCI-1710 A/D card. I use the Advantech drivers, and VI-s to get the data from the card (see the attached picture).

The problem: in the Measured data output array only the first 8 data is valid, the rest is the lowest value of the range, given in GainList input. For example: if the range is +/-10V for each channel, the last 8 channel's value gets the -10V after some sampling periods.

What did I wrong? Is there any idea?

Thanks!

Hi Csaba,

this card allows for DI ans SE configuration of the input channels. Did you select DI configuration for all channels resulting in just 8 input channels?

Best regards,

Hi Csaba,

I believe GerdW has a valid point.

Please also keep in mind, that this card is not NI product so we cannot support it. Both the driver and the card are developed by Advantech, so our possibilities are limited.

Dear GerdW!

Thanks for your reply. I looked after, and it looks like the channel configuration of the AI card is set the to Single ended.

Thanks for the advice: I try to get some help from Advantech.

Regards,

Csaba
