my question was regarding an output connector for a vi, but it was answered.

But here's one:

How can i continuously update a global variable and feed it into a vi?

The updating has been done, but i can't seem to transfer the data to another vi.

Thanks in Advance

FredFred,

There's a shipping example that does exactly what you're asking about. In LabVIEW, choose Help >> Find Examples to open the Example Finder. After it opens, go to the Search tab and type in "global". You should be able to find a pair of VIs, Generate Numbers.vi and Display Numbers.vi that demonstrate what you're asking about.

If you're having a problem accessing the global from a "how to program it" perspective, then check the user manual or reply with additional info.

Regards,
John
