Number control format doesn't work

Hi!

The problem is: put a number control in the front panel of a new blank vi, right click it, then click "data range..." or "Format and precision...", there was no dialog window appear (no response, but not deadlock). 

I use LV8.2, WinXPsp2.

Hey,

Could be a problem with the LabVIEW installation. Just try to repair LabVIEW under your Windows control panel. If this doesn't help, just uninstall and reinstall LabVIEW and turn off firewalls, board blockers and virus scanners, anb be sure to logged in as administrator!
