No line between data points in graph

I want to show a xy-graph of my measuring points via the responsibel express vi.
But during updating the graph screen it shows only one point and no connection
line inbetween the datapoints.
Under properties the I already checkmarked the correct color and line inbetween -
but no reaction anyway.
Is there a solution?

It seems your data is only one point, thus a connecting line cannot exist. 😉

There could be many causes for this, and most of them are simple programming errors. Could you attach your VI so we can see what's going on? Thanks!

OK here we go - just a short vi - but the same problem.

Would be very happy if you could help me - thanks

Hi Stefan
you problem is that you are only showing the present value. You have no memory !!

Solution would be to generate you graph values and retain in an array then link array to  xy graph.

Check out the xy graph example in the NI example folder.

OK I think I understand "a little bit" but what other opportunity do I have to record a
realtime xy - Plot in a while loop.

I did make it to generate a simple time plot (time on x-axis) but I need to create another value than time on
the x-axis.

So what can I do to deliver a defined x-value to a diagramm or a plot.

All I got now is that it is not possible to create a realtime xy plot with the graph function.

Perhaps you forgot the attachment - don't see anything - would be happy if it's possible
to open it in LabView 7.0 ....

Just double-click the expressVI "XY graph erzeugen" and uncheck "Clear data on each call". Voila! 🙂

(There is also no reason for sequences and local variables!)

Make sure to re-attach the file after you preview your post. Previewing clears the attachment field. 😞
