NetCDF support in LabVIEW

Hi,

I am setting up a scientific data acquisition and analysis system based around LabVIEW 7.1. At this time the data acquisition is working quite well; however, I would like to save my data in the NetCDF format and can't seem to find any support for this under LabVIEW.

Any suggestions/sample code/links related to working with NetCDF files under LabVIEW would be greatly appreciated. If this isn't possible, ideas for other LabVIEW-supported file formats (ideally with similar portability, self-describing nature and flexibility as NetCDF) would be helpful.

I am looking to read and write NetCDF files using labVIEW and I wondered if anyone had any experience or had a sample script or any advice on what to do. I am having trouble understanding exactly what the format is and therefore it is difficult for me to try to creatae anything. The angelfire link is broken

Is there anybody that has written a vi to read netCDF data into an array and operate on it? I am having issues with Labview-netCDF operations as a Labview 'beginner'. I researched all the available resources online and also contacted Unidata. Anybody in the NI developer zone have anything esle to contribute?
