Negate and Absolute VIs Negative Overflow

When using LabVIEW Negate and Absolute VIs I found that negative inputs that overflow result in negative outputs. Is this behavior correct?

Could you post an example so we could take a look at it?

Yes. Here is a VI that tests the overflow condition for negative values input to the negate and absolute VIs. I believe the behavior only occurs with signed integers. I don't believe it occurs with floats, doubles, or extend types and I didn't look at the behavior with unsigned integers.
