NIPMCommError NI Package Manager

Hello,

I get the following Error when I start the NI Package Manager.

The Info at ni.com/info doesn't help.

When I try the URL http://download-preview.ni.com it seems the Server doesn't exist.

Are the URLs correct?

If not how can I fix them?

Thank you

Hi Wolfgera,

I hope this helps:

in the NI Package Manager/Settings folder and specifically in "ni-package-builder-labview-support-1-0-released.ini":

replace the above URLs in the mentioned .ini files to the following URLs should solve the issue:

http://download.ni.com/support/nipkg/products/ni-labview-ng/1.0/released

http://download.ni.com/support/nipkg/products/ni-labview-ng/1.0/released-critical

Please give me feedback if it helped.

Best regards

Richard

Hi Richard,

The URL replacement helped.

Thank you very much for your solution.

Now I have a new problem.

The Packages.gz is missing. Where I can download it manually?

Best regards

G3W0

Richard-

The updated URL worked for me, too.  Thanks!

By the way, these files were found at the location C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI Package Manager\Settings on my computer.
