NI ELVIS Quanser LABview 8.2 compatability problems

Hi, my name is Antonio and I am a teacher assistant at the University of North Texas. I am having some difficulties running a QUANSER NI-ELVIS TRAINER project using LABview 8.2. I keep getting a series of little windows asking me for some file extensions that I cannot find. I select the "ignore item" option and it continues to process; however, at the end the block diagram has a broken arrow and it does NOT allow me to simulate the project "Quanser NI-ELVIS Trainer (QNET) - DC Motor Control Trainer (DCMCT)
Lab #1: Speed Control"

I will really appreciate any feedback or help I can get.

Hi Antonio,

I'm afraid I don't have the Quanser Ni-Elvis Training example you are referring to.  You might try contact Quanser if you need help debugging the application.  When you select "ignore item", you're ignoring the loading of required subvi's to run the application.  If your computer is unable to find the subvi's and you are forced to select the "ignore item", I would recommend double checking that you have the proper software and drivers installed.  NI-Elvis requires that you have both the DAQmx driver and NI Elvis software installed.  I've taken a look at Quanser's website and I don't see a place you can download the examples so that I could try it on my end.  If you could tell me which items it is missing, I might be able to verify which driver or software you are missing.
