NI-DAQmx as OPC-Server

We want to connect LabVIEW or Lookout as an OPC client to the NationalInstruments.DaqOpc server. It works fine with the traditional NI-DAQ, but returns no items in the NI-DAQmx on the same board (PCI-6024E). We used the NI-DAQmx version 7.1.
What do we wrong?

At this time DAQmx does not support an OPC server like it did in Traditional DAQ. We are definitely looking into providing this support in a future version of DAQmx

Hi All-

With NI-DAQmx 8.0 and later, OPC is supported via the NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channel.  See this article for more information.
