Multiple virtual channels for one physical channel

Hello.

I'm using Labview 8.0 with a NI USB-6211 board and an encoder with Z indexing available. If it possible for me to create more than one virtual channel (CI Freq and CI Cnt Edges) for the same physical counter channel (Dev1/ctr1).

Hiya Noel,

The short answer is YES. You can setup and configure as many virtual channels as you like, in MAX or LabVIEW.

However, these can not be run simultaneously as they will share resources.
