Multiple User Interface

Hi,
I'm still fairly new to LabVIEW... I am developping a multi purpose DAQ system that includes many experiments. I  am now done developping two VI's (Two experiments). I need to include those two in an User Interface, but facing many difficulties.
Here is a screen shot of how I want my user interface to look like.... When the user clicks on the Experiment menu he should get a list os experiments and when he select one of them he will get the corresponding experiment (Which is one of the VI's) displayed.
Thanks for any hint that can help me get started.

Hi RJP,

you can define your own runtime menus (RTM) for each vi (edit->runtime menu...). LabView also provides functions to check the state of the menu and also generates events to check with the event structure. So it's rather easy to have a custom menu and to control it. Look in the LV examples in the user interface section...

Depending on user's choice you simple start a subvi processing the chosen experiment (but don't do this inside the event structure as it may hurt the user interface responsitivity).

I'm not sure what you are asking, but if you are wondering how to write a VI to launch one of the test VIs according to the choice of the pulldown you show in the picture, you could use an invoke node as in this picture.
