Moving camera on 3d plot

Hi

I have a long data (long rectangle) on the 3d graph, and I'd like user, to view it by going through the collected points along the long axis.

I thought that this is enabled by drag and drop with Ctrl pressed, but the graph seems to snaps back to center position.

Is this some setting set to default? or a bug?

This was working fine in the older version, I'm attaching a vi

just tried your .vi, works as usual

(shift + leftclicking + move-mouse = zoom ; ctrl + leftclicking + move-mouse = pan)

looks like you have disabled the Automatic Tool Selection

if so, you have to manually switch to the "index finger tool"

Operating—Changes the value of a control.

to zoom or pan a 3d graph

Hi

I made a video of that: here

I'm using LabVIEW 2016 32-bet and Windows10.

Hi,

I am not sure what it is that you are trying to do with the 3D plot, are you trying to pan it? If you are, you can simply left click on the graph and pan it in the direction that you want.

Kind regards,

Kelly

I have notices the same problem. Panning keeps popping back to default position immediately after it has been released (Ctrl + left click).

To other replies - Please notice that panning and rotating are different operations.
