Move Scrollbars automatically

HI!

I do have a VI whose front panel is larger that the screen. On certain actions performed by the user the window should automatically scroll to a certain position. Is that possible? How? short code example would be great.

Andy,

You can do this using a Property Node to change the Front Panel>>Origin property. I have attached an image of a simple method. The Current VIs path is wired to the Open VI Reference, then a property node set to Front Panel>>Origin, and finally a Close Reference. The Front Panel.Origin property is a cluster of I32s containing the Horizontal and Vertical position.

Just a reminder :
For this sort of operation, you do not need to wire a reference to the property node :
drop directly a property node on the diagram. As it, it belongs to the application class. Right click and go to Select class > VI Server > VI...
But you have still to close the implicitely opened reference !
