Motorola Fast Floating Point format to binary conversion

I am working with a string of data from a device that I connected via the RS-232 serial port. Could I get some assistance in converting this string (it's in Motorola Fast Floating Point format) to binary? Does LabVIEW have functions that do such conversions?

Look in the Numeric / Data Conversion palette.  Things like unflatten from string should work for you.
