Modulation Toolkit Error Codes

Is there a good location to find what the Modulation Toolkit Error Codes mean?

I get the message "This error code is undefined. No one has provided a description for this code, or you might have wired a number that is not an error code to the error code input" when I receive an error from one of the Modulation Toolkit VIs.  The only way I have found to determine what exactly the error is is to open the toolkit VI and browse through the connecting subVIs to find the error number.  This has worked for most of the day, but now I've received error -20559 and can't find it.

There's nothing in there regarding the Modulation Toolkit. 😞  But thank you for pointing that directory out.

Hi,

If the message says that no one has provided a description for the error, it's likely that there isn't a document with what that error code means. Can you tell us which VI is throwing this error? It would help us figure out some possible reasons for the error.

The particular error I mentioned came from the "MT Downconvert Passband (Real).vi", but I have received several different errors that had no explanation through other VIs in the Modulation Toolkit.  I eventually found an array in "mod_Error Codes.vi" that mapped error codes to an error condition enumeration, but it took some digging into the subVIs to find it.  I was surprised that the error codes were not listed in a Modulation Toolkit help file and that I had to dig into subVIs to find an explanation for the error.

if possible, create a custom error codes file from the information you received, it will make your life in future easy to find the description for all errors. you dont need to dig into Sub VI s again and again....
