Tnks to all! Probably we are facing a LV bug (small?) but a workaround is to programmatically create a vba script that do the job for us. At this point I'll pobably follow a different way and I'll try to do all from inside MS office (linking properties to an xls worksheet).
Anyway tnks again to all, I'm happy to see a so active community!

At the end I've chosen to do all in LabVIEW because I need to collect data from many different sources and I'm not able to do this in pure VBA.
I've attached the code (LV 2010 sp1, ActiveX from Word 2007) I've made, it's not really clean but works for me and, in my opinion, can be a starting point for someone else that need to do a similar job.
