Missing lvapp.lib

Hello 2 all !

I'm using LabView 8.5.1 on Windows XP SP2 and i'm trying to buid a executable based on a working vi.

But the build fails because, and i quote:

"Error copying files.
Source: D:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\AppLibs\lvapp.lib
Destination: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\lvapp.lib.tmp"

" Error 7 occurred at AB_Engine_Get_AppShell.vi -> AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi -> AB_Engine_Build.vi -> AB_Build_Invoke.vi -> AB_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

"Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  File not found. The file might have been moved or deleted, or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the operating system. For example, use \ as path separators on Windows, : on Mac OS, and / on Linux. Verify that the path is correct using the command prompt or file explorer. "

How can i solve this ?

Thank you 4 your time.

I've searched tryed the following things :

1. Repair LabView - no luck.

2.Search my computer for lvapp.lib - no file found.

I've searche the forums, and came across http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6449#65891_by_Category.

This error should have been corrected in LAbView 8.5.1.

What else can i try  ?

No. I've tried to do the build with the default settings.

You can do that while defining "build specification"

I think that there must be something trivial like LabView doesn't know what icon to assign to the application.
