I want to use the MAX Copy Configuration.vi to import a configuration file into MAX to replace whatever configuration it has. My configuration file only contains one VISA TCP/IP address. However, when using the "Replace" as the input to the "replace mode" input on the VI, it does not delete the other VISA TCP/IP resources. It will add mine as if it were doing a merge.
In addition, if I have MAX setup so it has a VISA TCP/IP resource with the same alias as the config file but a different IP address, when I run the MAX Copy COnfiguration vi it will create the correct resource with correct alias and IP, but an additional VISA resource will be present with the alias "TCPIP0:<old IP>::inst0:INSTR" and the old IP address. Is it not possible to do a replace with VISA TCP/IP resources? See attached VI and .nce file.
