Matlab Script and Matlab to HIQ

Hi,

I have a couple different questions regarding LabVIEW and Matlab
integration.

1) When you use open a .vi with a matlab script node in it Matlab will
get launched. However if you close the Matlab Command Prompt window
Labview looses it's reference to Matlab and you have to restart the vi
to get it to run the Matlab script again. Is there any way to
reinitialize the reference to Matlab without having to close the vi and
reload it?

2) I noticed that HiQ does not recognize the Matlab Cell Array data
type. Is there any way to get HiQ to recognize it?
