MCC DAQ Connection Issue on NIMAX

Solved!
Go to solution

I am getting started with LabVIEW 2015, and the MCC OM-USB-1408FS that I am using is not showing up in the Devices and Interfaces tab in NI MAX. However, when using DAQami software, it is able to register the daq.

I downloaded the ULx for NI LabVIEW, and still the daq is not seen in the Analog Input Voltage Channel in the front panel.

Are there any extra steps that need to be taken or something I am not considering?

Any help would be very appreciated!

Interesting.  I think MCC makes LabVIEW-compatible USB Multifunction Devices -- do you have their ULx for NI LabVIEW package?

You definitely need to install the ULx library.

The MCC -DAQ has never shown up in MAX.

The MCC will not show up in NI MAX, use the instacal software that is provided by MCC, this is somewhat like NI MAX for MCC.  Youll have to register the device there and then you should have the channels available in your code.
