Loudspeakers and delay

Solved!
Go to solution

Looks like a good selection of hardware but you have still left out the most critical piece of the puzzle we need to give you any valid advice. What will you generate your signal with? The PXI-1042 is just a chassis. What will you put in there to create the actual voltages that the software will control to make a useful signal?

As I mentioned before, I don't see any cards from NI that will do everything but with your chassis you can put many cards in and use the RTSI (Real-Time System Integration) signals in the backplane to synchronize several DAQ cards. Without knowing what cards you will use, we can't advise on any software except to say you should brush up on DAQmx.

NOTE: If you have not picked/purchased your DAQ cards yet we can help you choose. There's a LOT of options. NI Sales can also help you decide.

Sorry, I didn't think about that. My voltage generator will be the FAC-303 B. Here is the complete system.

Thank you for your time.

FAC 303 ??? Can't find anything about it. I hope you have good drivers for it.

Honestly, if you're using NI cards in your NI PXI chassis and want to program with NI LabVIEW it will be MUCH easier to use NI DAQ cards.
