Lin Frame

Hi,

 

      I have a .log file. I wanted to know how to read these Lin frames from  .log file in Labview? these are temperatures measurement. If there are any examples pls do post.

You have about 10 columns of various formats (time, text, hex, etc).

 

Which column is the temperature data? Do you have a document that describes the formatting?

Are you using any NI hardware when getting this data?

       I don't have any document wrt this case, but as i saw few documents in internet i feel it might be like this pattern.

     Time stamp                    Frame id                                               bytes                   Temperature Data.

Do you know what kind of temeperature ranges you expect in the file? Are the lines with only 2 bytes something else?

Hi,

 

       The temperature ranges are from 80°c to 100°c . There are only 2 bytes of data, notging other than that.

Try this. No guarantees.... You really need to get the full file format specification Anything else is just guessing.....
