Launching the VI-Server

Hi All,
is it possible to start the VI-Server without starting Labview itself?
I ask because there i like to run my VI's on a computer without Labview
installed.

If you want to run your application without Labview installed, you can compile it with the application builder and even include an installer, which will put a labview runtime engine on a machine with no fees, one of the better features in labview.  This way you can distribute and run labview application on any machine.
