Large memory allocation with LTK vis

I am seeing a large amount of memory blocks being asscoiated with the LTK toolkit VI "LTK_Translation_LookupText.vi" within my LabVIEW project. It is almost 10x larger than any other memory allocation within my project including the upper level VI. Is this normal?

Well the VI name implies that its a look up table of some sort -- or at least contains a look-up table. VIs like that can consume large amounts of memory. Whether or not it's usage is excessive depends on how its written.
