Laptop for data acquisition

I am looking for a good laptop for instrumental analysis (money is not an issue). The laptop would need to be fast as it will be connected to a data acquisition system (lots of channels) and LabVIEW.

Would someone be able to recommend a good one?

Hi cmfl 

Typically you'll be OK with anything i7 16GB RAM (even i5), you can pick up a decent laptop from dell for just under 1000USD. If processing power is a concern, maybe RT CDAQ systems or CRIO is more suitable. 

I always go for dell laptops or towers with i7 16GB ram, or if the need is there Amplicon industrial PCs.
