Labview update ??

Are there any problems at the update of Labview 5.1 on 6.0 ?
Will my GPIB interface work under 6.0 too?

Theoretically, there should be no problem, but you better talk to NI, when i was thinking of buying the new version, NI offered to deal with any problem i could have regarding it.

Not only theoretical but also practical, it will work.
Unless you have a programming error that shows up in the new environment. But to my knowledge most programming errors are covered better in 6.02 !
The best you can do is try it.
GPIB is not an issue, that works the same.

And remember don't use 6.0 but 6.02 or higher

We upgraded from 5.1 to 6.0.2 without any problems. Well, except from a
colleague who found that some of his tailored VIs were made even smarter by
NI 🙂

So go for it.
