Labview runtime installation in windows 8

Hi,

I am having some problem when I try to install the labview runtime in windows 8. I am getting an error during installation as " Login as an adminstrator to install the runtime" eventhough I am the adminstrator of that computer. Please give me your comments to solve this problem.

Thank you

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Could you try to right click on the executable and select "Run as Administrator".

Please let me know if this helps, if not we can move forward from there.

I have a few more questions:

What version of the Run-Time Engine are you trying to install?

Where did you get the copy of your Run-Time Engine?

Are you trying to install this Run-Time Engine on the target computer; the computer you wish to run a desired built application?

Hi Suresh,

Are you having trouble installing any other applications?

Also to confirm, the target computer does not have LabVIEW installed?

Could you also try making an installer with your development computer and see if that installs on your target computer?
