Labview on Windows 2000

We are trying to install a lab with LabView 5.1 on a Windows 2000 system,
and we cannot get a PCI 1200 interface card to be recognised either by the
system or Labview itself.
Any advice please?

What version of NI-DAQ are you using? I believe only Version 6.6 supports Win2K

Also, I do not believe LV 5.1 supports Win2K. You need to patch it to at least 5.1.1

You should be able to download both updates at www.ni.com

If the card is not seen in MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer), them
this is a driver (NIDAQ problem). LabVIEW doesn't have anything to do with
it. Make sure you have a least NIDAQ 6.6 (which is not the case if you
install from a LV 5.1 CD which ships with NIDAQ 6.5. You can either download
the latest version of NIDAQ (6.7 I believe) or get a LV 5.1.1 CD which ships
with NIDAQ 6.6

Thank you for all your help. NIDAQ 6.6 did indeed fix the problem, in
conjunction with version 5.1.1.

Thanks also to the guy who offered me a job, I have forwarded the info to
our lab manager who may know someone with more knowledge of LabView and
interest.
