U can use Serial communication protocol.

For Microcontroller programming you have to use C/C++ only, but for communicating from microcontroller to PC u can use serial communication.

labview is having a feature of serial communication.

here my understanding is that you want to see some data coming from microcontroller to PC in labview right?

if that is the case u can do as i said.

Yes, LabVIEW can be used to program embedded systems..

and from what i understand you are looking for programming 89C51 which is 8-bit uC, LabVIEW is supported only for 32-bit uP/uC and cannot be used to program 89C51 uC..
