Dear Community,
I hope you are all doing well.
I have a SCXI 1600 driver bought some years ago. It is compatible avec LabVIEW version 8.5, 8.6 , 2009 and 2010. The computer on which we have LabVIEW 8.5 installed is dead. I am wondering how to get a licence or a version of one of these old versions to run the .vi programme associated with SCXI 1600 driver ? Or are there any other way to run a .vi programme without having the Labview software installed?
Thank you for your support.
Best regards

Hi Anolive,
contact NI and ask for installation media. Have the proof of license ownership at hand to proof you have/had a valid license for LV8.5...
Do you really want to "run" VIs then you need a LabVIEW IDE. When there is an application built with LabVIEW then you need the (free) RunTimeEngine...

Dear Gerd,
Thank you so much for your support and great recommendations. I already contacted NI and wait for there answer. Meanwhile, I will try RunTimeEngine and see. Thanks again

You need to use the RunTimeEngine of the same version as the EXE was built in.
Usually you get a dialog box upon EXE start that tells you which version is expected...
