Did you mean:

Labview doesn't seem to recognize the presence of the Iotech Daqboard/2000 board that has been installed.

I'm trying to get the device recognized in MAX, however, in the software that came with the device, we were able to get the device recognized and record data, eg. sine wave from a signal generator. We can't even get that far in Labview.
Am I doing something wrong?

MAX is primarily a configuration and management interface for NI hardware and software. It doesn't currently support third-party data acquisition boards, so don't expect to see those boards in MAX.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't use third-party data acquisition boards with LabVIEW; it just means that you can't configure such boards using MAX. MAX support is just one of the integration advantages that you get when you use NI hardware and software in conjunction.

Others on the forum may be able to assist with specific questions about using the VI and DLL libraries that IOtech ships with its hardware. Don't forget about the IOtech Web site and support staff either!
