Labview control servo motor & DRIVE

Hello all , 

i am new to servo motor control with labview 

 i have a Mitsubishi servo drive ( MR - JE -40 A  SERIES ) With servo motor interfaced 

  i would like to control ( communication ) using labview 

In that servo drive having the RS 485 port . so i am using the RS 485 to RS 232 converter to my PC 

by roughly  i have designed a small code only for checking the communication ( modbus )

parity and flow control are there .?  which mode i have to use ? ASCII or RTU ? 

Guide me  and post your views

感觉应该是modbus rtu ,以前用过三菱的变频器E700,就是支持modbus rtu

Hi,

 

Were you able to communicate and control servo drive using modbus. I am also working on same Mitsubishi servo drive ( MR - JE -40 A SERIES ).

yes Pradeep , 

 

we can communicate with that by writing the commands . by joining the numbers ....

Read that manual . In that they mentioned  the commands for each operation 

 

Try for Jog , Forward , reverse first .

Thanks, actually I am having counter counts as a input to servo and the servo should turn that much turns to reach the destination...if possible can u share vi snippet...

Try using RTU-manual. I believe this is what the user manual is suggesting.
