Labview User Groups

Are these meetings interesting/fun/worth the trip? Depends on the group, or
are these all just sales type presentations?

The meetings around here are not sales type presentations. I wish that I was able to attend more of them. I've been to a few and they were very interesting. A local user of LabVIEW demonstrates how they have used certain features of LabVIEW (ActiveX or IMAQ to name a couple) in their projects. I would say definately worth it, if nothing else you get a free lunch (around here anyway)!
