Labview FPGA Module and Windows 10

Ceslav's instructions worked for me from this discussion thread. I'll paraphrase here :

  1. Install NI's Vivado compile tools (these are Win 10 supported, and create the FPGA compile worker & server as well).
  2. Copy the "C:\NIFPGA\programs\Xilinx14_7\" folder from a Win7 installation into the Win10 computer.
  3. Install the latest version of MinGW: http://www.mingw.org/
  4. Copy the installed files from the default location "C:\MinGW" to "C:\NIFPGA\programs\Xilinx14_7\ISE\gnu\MinGW\5.0.0\nt"

I have problems to compile a FPGA for a cRIO-9025 with a NI-9114 chassis. The PC runs Windows 10 64bit and LabView 2015 SP1. The compiler (ISE 14.7) locks but not always in the same phase, these steps works for me:

1. Go to "C:\NIFPGA\programs\Xilinx14_7\ISE\bin\nt"

2. Find the "xtclsh.exe" file and open its properties to enable the compatibility mode to Windows 7.
