Labview EXE doesn't load Excel/Report Generation on different machine

Hi there!

I have a few LabView programs that I want to export data to excel with. I use the report generation toolkit to send open an excel template, then dump the data in that way. It works great on my machine, but when I go to make an executable, the excel sheet does not open and nothing happens.

I have tried adding the _exclsub.lib and almost everything that the NI site has mentioned but to no success.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Are the Excel versions the same? Even the language of the version needs to
match the version of the machine you've build the exe on.

As far as I know there is no solution to this problem.

Btw. Does the exe work on the development machine?

Yes the Excel Versions are the same. I have found the problem; I was using the "New Report.vi" to open up the report, so I had to add that VI to the Dynamic VI option in the EXE. This one was hard to find, but it was in the vi.lib folder too.
