Hey everybody!  Just trying to figure out how many replies I need before I can level up from Proven Member to Proven Regular?  How many experience points do I get for one reply or for one new thread?  Also, once I finally level up does this give me any new powers or abilities?  For instance, when I do finally level up do I get the special ability to be able to write a .VI in a single try without errors?  'Cause that'd be kinda cool...

You might want to look at the two forums, Breakpoint, and Feedback on NI Forums, under the Special Interest Boards section. There have been a number of discussions about the rating system and the link to a FAQ (which I don't remember at the time). Roughly it is 50 replies to reach the first transition, 2000 to become an "Enthusiast", but I don't remember the other levels at the moment. You do get community accolades when you break 1000, and we have one very helpful and prolific submitter that is now 5000+! (I'll let you determine who that is).

On the list the there are over 500 members with 50+ replies, but less than 10 with 1000+.  I find this forum a great way to learn about programming in LV, answering and thinking about the questions are the path to the "special powers" you are seeking.  I think the list even mentioned how the rankings are determined.
