Labview 2009 Targets and Devices

Hi,

Ive just installed Labview 2009 trial version and created a new project. However when I right click on project and goto "new", all that is in the list is "new" again, i would expect to see the option "target and devices" but it is not there? I have click on the "new" but there is no option for new target and devices, can anybody explain why this is? Have I missed something from the install?

Hey MEastwood,

You're right, you should be seeing a "Targets and Devices" option.  This problem sounds like you haven't got the right drivers installed. Obviously the drivers depend on which hardware your using, a list is available at http://www.ni.com/drivers. 

Let me know if this solves the problem or not, and if you need help finding the right driver.
