Labjack U12 and UE9 support files while creating Installer or EXE.

Hi all,

I'm using LabJack U12 and LabJackUE9 cards for hardware I/O communication from the LabVIEW software through two USB ports. LabVIEW drivers were provided by the LabJack for these devices seperately. While creating Installer or Executable for my application, shall I have to include any specific DLLs for these two LabJack cards seperately? If so, please advise which of the DLLs to be included.

Thanks and Regards,
Krishna.

LabVIEW does not include DLLs when it builds an application.  They are dynamically loaded at run time.  You need to add the DLLs to your build by selecting them as Source FIles -> Add Support File...  The actual DLLs you have to add I don't know because I don't use that product.  You can always just select them all and you are covered.  Be sure to install them in the correct location on the deployment PC.

Hi,

Thanks for this information. When we used NI-DAQmx in our earlier application, we did the same procedure as you've suggested now.

I have not yet created any installer or executable till now. I hope that this information will help me while creating EXE.

Thanks in advance,
Kittamma.
