Hmm, i guess I just don't get it. There is nowhere to start a shift register from and nowhere to send a shift register to, and if I choose to un check default if unwired then the tunnels are unwired on certain events and thats an error....... ahh!!! I wish I was better at this.
Any help?
Right then in that case could you tell me how/if it is possible to sweep a voltage one way and then the other to look for hysteresis effects without having to go back through the menus and change the sweep values? Or if that is the case, is there a fast way to do that using programming?
Thanks
Hi Pazmush,
don't push us, we do this on a voluntary base!
Well, I never made hysteresis measurements with the HP. Only measured diodes in one direction...
As far as I remember you cannot define measurement sweeps in two "directions", the HP only wanted to know a start and an end value with the number of steps in between.
As it also has a GPIB input you can probably program it to do two measurements one after the other to get your hysteresis measurement. Just grab the manual!
Right this is a big ask now......... I think.....
What I want to do is modify this VI (below) so that it;
sets up for a forward sweep -> takes a measurement -> acquires the data -> sets up for a reverse sweep -> single measurement -> acquires data -> output to graph
can anyone suggest an easy way to do this or does it involve tearing the whole thing apart are starting a fresh?
Thanks
