LabVIEW - tops for signal processing

You know I have talked to so many engineers when I tell then that I use
LabVIEW for all my signal processing simulations and some real-time work.
They always say why LabVIEW? You are not getting the message out there.
LabVIEW is not just the best - it is streets ahead of the competition. I
never even dream of using MATLAB nowadays.The only thing that lets it down
is that it is so bloody expensive! Reduce the price and you could take
Microsoft on.

I perfectly agree Tom

Since I learned LabVIEW, Matlab has bocame an old dream. Especially the signal processing is something LV has advantage due to dataflow visualisation. It works exactly like the way we are thinking. But there is a price for it though.

It's like talking programming languages to people. Regardless of the "facts" people have their preferences and most time, the more irrational the reason, the more vehemently they will defend it.

It really won't matter if NF publicizes more or reduces the price somewhat -- except that they will exponentially increase their support problems.
